Finally, Exeggutor is done . Ive been thinking that I would be able to finish him previous year, since I started in August, but it took way more time.
Im very satisfied with the result ; no major faults or mistakes (just some little ones that are hard to spot, but I think I will keep making that kind of mistakes).
For the Pókemon die-hards: Yes, Exeggutor should have 3 heads according to the Pókedex. Ive searched the internet, but I havent found a picture of the backside of Exeggutor (not even in the Exeggutor-episode of season 1 ). Since I couldnt come up with a decent design for its back, I thought it would be nicer to create some more heads, so Exeggutor would look more radially symmetric. I think it turned out very well.
Measurements: 21 cm wide 28 cm tall
Material
T-shirt fabric, except for:
- The eyes and mouths. Those are made of felt, (black) thread that is also used for sewing or a combination of both.
- Ive used some metal wire in some of the leaves to keep them together. Ive also tried to make a very simple, rigorous skeleton for its legs so Exeggutor would be able to stand straight. It worked, but he tips over very easily.
- Ive used cardboard to flatten its feet.
Good parts The overall look of Exeggutor. Its parts seem to fit together in the proper ratio. If you can find
Lesser parts None if you ask me. Of course there are some little mistakes, but I dont think I can do much better than this.
Difficult parts Attaching the leaves and the heads to its body. His feet were also difficult because of the small parts.
Designing the patterns for its head-region was hard too, but it worked out fine .
Time needed
A whole lot! I guess I like the little projects more

Thank you very much (also for the )! The following comment may be more surprising, but it will explain why it isn't too difficult to attach the heads and leaves. I've created the pattern in a certain way that I would only need one opening to fill Exeggutor with plush. So the leaves, the head and the feet are all filled with plush though one opening (in Exeggutor's back). So how have I done it? I've sewed the end of the leaves together so they were tied together. Then I had sewed this bundle of leaves in an opening in a 5-star shaped pattern. In each of the 5 notches of the star I sewed a head. The last part was sewing the brown upperbody to the heads. All this sewing was hard, because all the parts were small and close to each other. I hope I make some sense. It is hard to explain this in my second language
this is AMAZING MAAAAN!!!!! ur soooo goood!!! u should work for big cartoon companies & create patterns for them!!!! i can't believe it's only 28cm tall!!! how cuuuute>.< u keep on surprising us with making difficult pokemons
